Orlando prosecutor fires 6 over drug abuse allegations
By: Associated Press January 21, 2017 ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- The recently elected state attorney in Orlando has fired six employees over allegations of drug abuse. The Orlando Sentinel reports that State Attorney Aramis Ayala made the announcement Friday at the Orange County Courthouse. Ayala said an internal investigation determined that the employees either used or witnessed other people using cocaine and marijuana on more than one occasion.
