Six people were taken to the hospital after a Spirit Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Orlando International Airport Friday. The plane was forced to land after smoke was reported in the cockpit, said airport spokeswoman Carolyn Fennell. Fennell said the flight took off about 4 p.m. with 179 passengers and was heading to Latrobe, Pa.
